Coaching Policies

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled time, or you will be charged the full price of the lesson. Exceptions will be made in case of emergency, or if you develop a last-minute vocal limitation (stuffed up nose, hoarseness, sore throat, etc.) that will not allow you to be 100% productive in your voice session. In the case of scheduling conflicts or other situations that would not allow you to continue with any prepaid lessons, you will be given a credit for future services, classes, or products.

Recording Agreement

You will be recorded and will also record yourself from time to time for assessment purposes and for your own listening skills development. Jenny will keep these recordings confidential and on file for your and her use only. Any commercial use is strictly forbidden.

Expectations

Voice training takes commitment and practice. You will be expected to prioritize your practice in the form of ANY amount of time spent per day, from 10 minutes to 1+ hours per day. The practice involves showing up, being aware, experimenting, doing exercises, journaling, and listening, throughout the day in small increments of time. I will not impose a strict practice schedule. Instead, we will find the best way to implement your practice as it fits your needs.  

Confidentiality

I keep your lessons and your work with me confidential. Notes, homework, recordings, and other materials will be stored in Google Drive, accessible only by you and me.  

Disclaimer

I am a Voice, Speech, and Dialect Coach and not a Health Professional. If your vocal needs go beyond my professional limitations, I will refer you to the appropriate health practitioner, which may include a speech pathologist, ear, nose, and throat doctor, general practitioner, dentist, massage therapist, physical therapist, or mental health professional.
